The Director of Cardiovascular Lab directs the activities of the Cardiovascular Laboratory Services. Administers, plans, directs and evaluates the activities of the Cardiovascular Laboratory employees to ensure quality patient care. Develops goals, policies and procedures. Participates in performance improvement activities.
Education, experience, training:
1. Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
2. Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)-(AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
3. A minimum of two years supervisory/management experience necessary.
4. Five (5) years of Coronary Care Nursing and/or the Cardiovascular Lab.
5. Basic computer knowledge.
6. Proficient in interpreting EKGs and hemodynamic pressure tracings.
7. Operates Cardiovascular Laboratory equipment; pressure injectors, hemodynamic monitor, cardiac output computer, etc.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $100,339.20 to $135,054.40 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
