Quality And Operations Technician
The Quality And Operations Technician ensures all products meet quality standards. This role involves inspecting products, documenting results, and working with production to solve issues.

The Quality And Operations Technician Responsibilities:
- Quality Control & Reporting: You'll accurately measure parts to ensure they meet quality standards, meticulously record all inspection results in both digital and physical logs, and create and share detailed quality reports, control charts, and non-conformance logs with the relevant teams.
- Non-Conformance Management: When you find a product or material that doesn't meet specifications, you'll be responsible for identifying, tagging, and isolating it. You'll then initiate and manage the process to correct the issue by performing root-cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventative actions.
- Process Audits & Improvement: You'll help maintain quality standards by participating in regular audits to ensure all procedures and work instructions are followed correctly. You'll also play a key role in continuous improvement efforts by collecting data and suggesting ways to optimize processes and validate any changes made.
- Powder Handling & Equipment Operation: This role involves hands-on powder handling activities like weighing, sifting, blending, and batching, all while strictly following safety protocols. You'll also be responsible for operating and maintaining the equipment used for these tasks.
- Additional Responsibilities: You'll be expected to take on other duties as assigned to support the overall goals of the quality and operations teams.
The Quality And Operations Technician Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship (contract requirements)
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 18 years of age or more
- 1 year of Quality Assurance/Quality Control experience
- 3 years of related working experience
- Experience using metrology equipment (i.e., calipers and micrometers, etc)
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines
The Quality And Operations Technician Preferred Requirements:
- 2-year degree, technical certification, or equivalent
- 2 years of Quality Assurance/Quality Control experience in a production environment
- Quality Auditor/Inspector training and certification (ISO 9001 Internal Auditor or ASQ CQI)
- 5 years of related working experience
- Knowledge of measuring and inspection equipment including:
- Programing and operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (Zeiss preferred)
- Optical Comparators
- Hand tools such as Micrometers, Calipers, Height Gauges
- Basic knowledge of material handling, especially powders or granular substances

Working Conditions:
- Standing, walking, lifting/maneuvering up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent exposure to powders, dust, and manufacturing equipment
- Use of PPE such as gloves, masks, safety shoes, and protective eyewear.
