Operations Technician

Sr. Technician-Oilfield ROV Manufacturing

Northwest Houston - 290 and Beltway 8

7:30AM to 4:30PM - Monday through Friday

$15 to $20/hr. DOE - Temp to hire

Full-time

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to clients for unique owned equipment
• Must perform repair and maintenance of equipment in the workshop
• Must perform onsite installation by mobilizing and demobilizing equipment
• Must verify and examine equipment to meet manufacturing standards and specifications
• Ensure accuracy of inventory data in Dynamics 365 system
• Compile service reports and follow up with service
• Generate report fault reports in a timely manner
• Housekeeping/maintenance of equipment in workshop and stores
• Other duties as assignment by management

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• Must have 2 years mechanical/electrical experience
• Must have 3-5 years of experience in oil gas industry
• Must have soldering experience
• Must read and understand wiring diagrams and schematics
• Must be self-motivated, proactive and have high attention to details and comprehension
• Must have excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, organization, communication skills
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
• Must be able to sit, use hands to handle, grasp, pull; reach with hands and arms climb, maneuver while balancing and carrying objects

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $17.00 - $24.00 Per Hour
