End User Support Specialist

Our client in Edison, NJ is seeking an On-site Direct Hire End User Support Specialist.

We are seeking a computer-savvy and technical individual to join our client as an End User & Desktop Support Specialist. This role is the primary point of contact for technical issues, focusing on supporting internal employees internally and remotely. Salary: 65-85K

Responsibilities:

• Act as the first and second line of support for all technical issues, resolving a wide range of hardware, software, and peripheral problems across various operating systems (Windows) and mobile platforms.
• Utilize strong analytical skills to diagnose, isolate, and resolve technical faults efficiently.
• Provide technical assistance to employees working remotely.
• Configure, image, and deploy new computers, mobile devices, and related equipment, ensuring they are ready for user use.
• Maintain accurate records of all support interactions in the ticketing system and contribute to the internal knowledge base and user documentation.

Requirements:

• Able to quickly grasp and master new software, troubleshoot complex technical sequences, and understand the relationship between hardware and software components.
• Prior experience providing End User/Desktop Support at both Tier 1 and Tier 2 levels.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
