This company servicing the special events, hotel/hospitality and audio visual industries and provides quality products and fulfillment since 1984. They are looking for a part-time sales customer service and data entry clerk.

Location: Van Nuys. This is a part-time position (20-30 hrs. a week). Working hours: Tuesday - Friday 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM. Salary: $20.00 - $23.00/hr. (DOE)

Responsibilities:

• Supporting the sales department
• Responding to inbound calls, e-mails and faxes in a timely manner
• Entering customer sales orders and vendor purchase orders
• Receiving purchase orders
• Processing sales orders and credit card charges.
• Preparing quotes/sending out samples and/or information requested
• Follow-up on pending requests, quotes or issues
• Customer cycle contacts to update and maintain connections
• Updating customer and vendor files as required
• Update pricing and sending notices of change(s)
• Maintaining pricing spreadsheets and client pricing

Requirements:

• Ability to build a firm base of product knowledge and inventory procedures
• Developing strong connections to clients and vendor partners
• Must have good computer skills (Microsoft Office – including Outlook, Word)
• Experience using Excel at standard level
• QuickBooks knowledge and experience

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $20.00 - $23.00 Per Hour
