Computer Operations Support

This is a great opportunity for a Computer Operations Support professional to join our team in New Albany, Ohio. We are looking for someone with at least five years of experience as a data center operator who is comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

This is a part-time position with the opportunity for overtime. The successful candidate will work onsite every Saturday and Sunday from 5:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.

What You'll Do

• Monitor and support our IT infrastructure and data center environments.
• Ensure the timely completion of scheduled batch cycles and processes.
• Identify and resolve issues that disrupt or negatively impact system processing.
• Work with various support teams to resolve issues and incidents based on established procedures.
• Monitor all data center hardware and software, taking action as needed.
• Control physical access to the facility and monitor the physical state of the data center.
• Document all shift activities and incidents.
• Respond to calls and inquiries to facilitate the timely resolution of issues and service requests.

What We're Looking For

• Experience: At least five years of experience as an operator in a data center environment.

• Knowledge: Familiarity with service management, workflow automation, and monitoring software is a plus.

• Skills: Experience with distributed systems operations.

This position offers a pay rate of $33/hour, with some flexibility depending on experience.
