Civil Engineer

We are seeking Civil Engineers with 2–5 years of experience to support ongoing residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects. This is an in-office position located in Chantilly, VA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft CAD drawings and technical details for site and subdivision plans.
• Conduct site layout and utility design, including roadway design (horizontal/vertical).
• Prepare erosion & sediment control plans and SWM computations.
• Perform pavement and sight distance analyses.
• Generate site work quantity take-offs.
• Collaborate with engineers, surveyors, and architects to ensure coordinated project delivery.
• Contribute to full sets of construction plans and permitting documentation.

Qualifications:

• B.S. in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 2–5 years of land development experience in Northern Virginia jurisdictions.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office.
• EIT certification preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Understanding of local regulations and ability to apply civil engineering principles to design decisions.
