Sales Support Analyst II
** This is a hybrid role based out of our HQ office near Carlsbad, CA. The expectation is for employees to be in-office 4 days or more per week, depending on business need. This in-office expectation is subject to change at business discretion.**
About The Position
The Sales Support Analyst II is a key partner to the wholesale sales team, providing operational and analytical support to drive revenue growth and improve sales efficiency. This role supports order processing and reporting, coordinates internal and external sales events, and maintains sales order data integrity. The position also acts as a liaison between Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, and other internal departments to ensure timely and accurate execution of sales initiatives.
This position requires someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who takes initiative, communicates effectively, and works collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
How You'll Make A Difference
Sales Operations and Systems Support
- Maintain and update internal customer and prospect databases, ensuring accurate contact and profile information
- Use internal sales software and Microsoft Excel (including Pivot Tables) to extract, analyze, and summarize data for reporting and decision-making purposes
- Complete customer templates, enter orders, send stock lists, and run sales activity reports to support Sales
- Support preparation of sales briefs and presentations by compiling relevant sales order data and account insights
- Liaise with Customer Service and Marketing to coordinate product setup and online execution needs
- Manage vendor catalog maintenance, contract support, digital PDP imager• Provide ongoing sales support including account communication, operational reviews, and driving reorders through weekly outreach
Regional Sales Support/Order Book Management
- Collaborate with internal and external sales reps to facilitate seasonal sell-in process
- Partner with Account Operations and Sales Reps to monitor order status, resolve credit holds, and maintain open orders
- Communicate style drops, changes, and UPC setups to customers and reps ahead of deadlines
- Monitor and maintain open orders, keeping sales reps and customers informed of status
- Provide return authorizations for product or warranty issues
- Collaborate with customers and internal Accounting on invoice and credit resolution
Meeting Planning and Support
- Coordinate logistics for Key Account meetings, including room setup, materials, and technical support
- Assist in the preparation and execution of internal and external sales events, meetings, and tradeshows
- Attend events as needed to provide onsite support, ensuring seamless execution
You Have
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3+ years' experience with EDI and related software
- Strong understanding of sales processes, seasonal cycles, and wholesale operations (apparel industry preferred)
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, proficiency in Word and PowerPoint required
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Effective project management and multitasking skills with a keen attention to detail
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under deadlines
- Experience in the outdoor industry and/or apparel business is a plus
- ERP system experience is strongly preferred, familiarity with order entry and vendor setup processes
- Occasional account-related travel (1–2 times annually)

Salary Range: $62,200 - $96,600 *Pay decisions are determined by multiple factors, including what the market is paying, a candidate's capabilities and skills, years of experience, and internal equity.
