Business Development Manager

This role will drive business growth through customer development, internal coordination and competitive solutions. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful projects and product launches by strengthening customer service and provide expert technical support, resolving issues promptly, and improving line performance. It's an exciting role that delivers accurate forecasts, monitor market trends and ensure full compliance with quality and EHS standards.

Responsibilities

• Support the senior leaders in achieving sales targets and developing both short-term and long-term business plans for assigned customers and projects.
• Gather customer needs, forecast and market trends, and prepare reports on project development for the responsible platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams especially Technical, Product Management, and Launching—to develop product commercialization plans and ensure product application.
• Maintain relationships with existing customers and expand business opportunities by promoting new products and increasing share of business.
• Support and coordinate introduction trials of new or modified technologies at customer sites to ensure they meet expectations.
• Provide hands-on technical support to customers across the coatings process to ensure stable line performance, product quality, and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in coating business.
• This position requires fluency in local language, English and Mandarin.
• Effective problem solving and communication skills are required
