Engineer In Maintenance And Automation

As an Engineer in Maintenance and Automation you will be responsible to the Maintenance of Distributed Control System. This job is fully onsite in Tepexpan, Mexico. You will report directly to the Junior Automation Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• You will ensure the correct operation of the Distributed Control Systems of our plant by carrying out preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
• You will ensure the correct operation of the integrated Safety Instrumented System (SIS) of the plant.
• You will Implement instrumentation and control projects aimed at process safety, EHS and productivity.
• You are going to quote spare parts and maintenance services and prepare the purchase requests for our suppliers.
• You will work with different areas and will give high-quality maintenance services.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of at least 1 year in the DELTA V distributed control system. Operation and management of control systems in production, Integrated Safety Systems, SIL1, 2 or 3 Interlocks.
• Knowledge in PLC programming, HMI, and configuration of VFDs.
• Education in Control and Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical or Electronic.
• Available to work on site and shift changes
• Assertive communication is key
