The Services Solution Engineer is responsible for day-to-day management of planning and operations, leading customer demonstrations, initial project planning and initiatives, managing process improvement, and ensuring the overall operational fluidity of the Sales to Services customer experience. This position requires a professional capable of working independently with little instruction, helping the Sales team, understanding the PowerSchool Customer Journey, and driving process improvement for sustained operational efficacy for the pre-sales process to Professional Services.

Your day-to-day job will consist of:

  • Pre-Sales Delivery – Completes RFP responses and demonstration work, on-time while meeting customers' expectations
  • Product Knowledge – Expand knowledge and maintain continual understanding of designated applications and client business processes. Acts as a subject matter expert for overall Professional Services & the Customer Journey
  • Presentation Execution – Able to lead effective Professional Services sessions to varied audiences and customer roles during the pre-sales process.
  • Consulting Skills -Responsible for determining client needs and making appropriate recommendations for current and future value-added services, products, etc. Take the lead on pre-sales questions from customers such as configuration, process mapping, district data migration, customer satisfaction issues, clarification of customer requirements and RFP responses.
  • Communication - Liaises with clients either on-site, by phone or email partnering with Sales. Sets project and software expectations. Responds to feedback, resolving any issues in a manner that satisfies the customer while meeting business objectives.
  • Project Management - Able to be knowledgeable and speak to PowerSchool Project Management methodologies (planning, time management, communications, etc.) to deliver the proposed services.
  • Status Reporting - Keeping the necessary parties up to date on the status of your project/engagements and escalating as appropriate.
  • All other duties as assigned.

A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this position is $60,000 - $79,400 USD. This compensation range is specific to the United States and it incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures, degrees, and certifications; specific geographic location; internal equity; internal pay ranges; and market data/range parameters.
