As a Marina Operations Specialist, you'll be responsible for the seamless operation of our boat docks, fuel dock, and trailer boat launch. This includes opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and managing inventory. You'll also perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting, from changing fuel filters to quickly identifying and reporting any maintenance issues.
The most important part of your role is providing outstanding, friendly customer service to all port guests and tenants. You'll answer requests in person, over the phone, and on the VHF radio, acting as a Port advocate and educator on a variety of Anacortes topics. You'll support office staff with inventory management and other operational duties, always ready to jump in and help when needed. High school diploma or equivalent
2 years of experience in port operations or a maintenance-related field
Proficiency in operating and maintaining equipment
Excellent customer service skills
Intermediate-level computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
