Schedules, dispatches and coordinates work for crews; orders and manages third-party contractors; manages emergent work and dispatcher crews for outages.

Reviews work orders and coordinates work to optimize resources. Plans, schedules and dispatches PGE and contract crews in accordance with overall plan. Coordinates with other departments as needed. Monitors job progress and identifies and resolves issues. Schedules special equipment to optimize resources.
Monitors system queues and works with stakeholders to develop one- to three-week schedules for a given area. Predicts resourcing needs based on current and upcoming workload. Prioritizes workload for area of control and determines best time to schedule unique as well as recurring activities. Monitors work order progress against the schedule and decides mitigation, if needed. Schedules work with low to moderate complexity prerequisite and/or equipment requirements. Resolves medium complexity or unexpected scheduling issues.
Responds to outages. Depending on area of specialization, may dispatch outage-related work orders, request permits or rights of way or plan and schedule work.
Ensures all work activities comply with regulatory and policy requirements. Responds to compliance review requests. Researches new regulations and determines applicability.
May analyze data and develop reports.
Documents new processes and updates existing processes. Identifies and implements process improvements.
Responds to questions related to area of specialty. May provide instruction to other employees on team.
Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, business, finance or other related field or equivalent experience.
Typically two or more years of experience in utility distribution operations, preferably in dispatch, planning or related field.

Compensation Range: $74,325.00 - $123,875.00
Actual total compensation, including a performance based incentive bonus, is commensurate with experience, skills, qualifications, education, training, and internal equity. While we anticipate the selected candidate for this position will fall towards the middle or entry point of the compensation range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis.
