Forest Machine Salesperson

Summary/Objective Develop relationships with new, existing and potential customers and sell new and used equipment to help them grow their business.

Qualification Requirements:

The position of forest machine salesperson with us means you will be responsible for the sale of new and used machines in your district. We offer an exciting job where you independently, with support from the sales manager and marketing department, plan your market and sales, and establish new customer contacts.

Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Exposure to loud vehicle/machine noises when in the shop or at events.

Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

This is largely a sedentary role; however, some activity is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bending or standing on a stool as necessary as well as the ability to lift, push, pull items when doing set up for events. Would require walking to the customer site.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the "core" work hours as well as availability during marketing events.

Travel This position requires up to 75% travel. Some of the travel is international.

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Ability to write simple correspondence.

Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees of the organization.

Speak English fluently.
