Sales Representatives Spain

Polynt is one of the leading producers of specific polymer chemical intermediates, such as anhydrides (maleic, phthalic, and trimelitic) and their derivatives (e.g., plasticizers), dibasic acids (fumaric and malic), unsaturated polyester resins, compounds, and special esters.

Currently, we are looking for a Sales Director, who resides in Barcelona, and has availability to travel through Spain, Portugal, and Italy.

Their main responsibilities will be the following:

  • Develop and implement sales plans and put into practice the sales strategy in the commercial area, defined in the European Commercial Meetings.
  • Maintain lasting and trustworthy relationships with clients to achieve sales objectives in the Spanish and Portuguese market.
  • Supervise expenses, competition, and supply and demand.
  • Identify and seek new business opportunities in the chemical products and coatings market.
  • Supervise the sales process, from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Conduct market studies to stay updated on sector trends and competitor activities.
  • Collaborate with the headquarters to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project delivery.
  • Track sales performance, analyze data, and identify areas of improvement.
  • Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to management.

Requirimientos del puesto:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales departments in the chemical sector.
  • Languages required:
    • Spanish: native level
    • English: C1 level
  • Valuable languages:
    • Italian, Catalan, and Portuguese
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Availability to travel through Spain, Portugal, and Italy
  • Proactive and autonomous in the development of their work
  • Motivated and goal-oriented
