Position at Point of Rental Software
Point of Rental is a 42-year-old company founded in 1983 and the leader in rental management software. We have a large, happy customer base and we're expanding our team to meet the growing needs of our customers. Our culture is one where every voice is heard, and respect and collaboration are at the heart of how we work. We've grown tremendously through acquisitions and by embracing modern cloud stacks like AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure.
This position offers the stability of an established company with the energy of a startup as we continue to innovate in cloud and AI. We also know how to have fun. Whether that's ping pong, pool, escape rooms, softball, soccer, or video games, we like to connect with each other beyond the code.
We're looking for a software engineer to join our public facing API's team. A core service that acts as the central bridge between multiple Point of Rental products and the public alike. You'll work closely with product teams, architects, and other engineers to support and improve one of the most critical systems in our platform.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with service-oriented architectures, solving integration challenges, and building software that supports the full scope of the rental industry. You'll have a hand in making our APIs more scalable, reliable, and easier for internal teams and external partners to consume.
We're also excited about how AI can improve how we build, test, and deliver software. If you're curious about leveraging AI tools and large language models to reduce repetitive work, improve efficiency, and unlock new capabilities, you'll have the freedom to explore and integrate those approaches into your workflow here.
