As a Senior Quantitative Analytics & Model Development Manager within PNC's Balance Sheet Analytics & Modeling Marketing & Customer Analytics organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Wilmington, DE or Tysons Corner, VA. This position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis.

Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Senior Quantitative Analytics Model Development Manager to lead the development of advanced analytical solutions that drive marketing performance. This role will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing predictive models that support customer acquisition, retention, cross-sell, and lifecycle marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning, and marketing analytics, with a strong understanding of credit card and consumer lending products.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of marketing targeting models supporting acquisition and customer lifecycle management.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to translate business objectives into analytical solutions.
  • Manage a team of data scientists, providing mentorship and technical guidance.
  • Ensure models are robust, scalable, and compliant with internal standards.
  • Monitor and evaluate emerging trends and technologies and integrate innovative approaches into existing models.
  • Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Significant experience applying statistical modeling and machine learning techniques within financial services, in the credit card and/or consumer lending marketing domain.
  • Strong understanding of marketing analytics, campaign measurement, targeting strategies, and experimental design.
  • Proficiency in Python, R and SQL. Knowledge of cloud platforms and big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop).
  • Proven track record of leading model development teams.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Strategic thinking, effectively interpreting complex business needs and translating them into modeling frameworks.
