✨ About The Role
- Lead the design of new features and maintain the cloud platform, focusing on performance optimization, bug fixes, and database migrations
- Communicate effectively across the team to ensure alignment and collaboration on projects
- Work with the founders on a daily basis to drive the platform's development and growth
- Utilize Python (FastAPI) for backend development and AWS services (S3, ECS, ECR, EC2) for platform infrastructure
- Deploy code via a CD pipeline and be willing to relocate to New York City for this hybrid role
⚡ Requirements
- Experienced professional with at least 5-8 years in a relevant industry job, preferably with a background in Python and cloud infrastructure design
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of mentoring, leading teams, and contributing to architecture and design decisions
- Ability to adapt quickly and work outside of your area of expertise, such as writing frontend code and learning new technologies
- Must be customer-focused, able to make decisions based on customer needs, and prioritize customer satisfaction and growth
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a high-speed development cycle and minimal meeting culture
