The annual compensation range for this position is $59,800.00 - $89,600.00. The salary offered within this range will be based upon the geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level.

Key Job Accountabilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of both electrical and mechanical labs, ensuring a clean, organized, and productive workspace for all users. Lead implementation and maintenance of 6S principles to promote efficiency, safety, and a highly organized lab environment.
  • Coordinate preventative maintenance of lab equipment, ensuring it is in good working order and ready for use. Oversee the calibration, usage, and storage of lab equipment to maintain accuracy and longevity.
  • Monitor usage and order lab consumables to ensure that supplies are always available for lab activities. Coordinate with electrical and mechanical engineering teams and site leaders to prioritize CapEx upgrades and expenditures.
  • Ensure the site's full compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) requirements and serve as the owner of lab documentation and training materials, providing guidance and support to lab users.
  • Function as a key participant in both internal and external certification audits, ensuring the labs comply with all required standards and processes.

Education/Experience Qualifications

  • A minimum of an Associate's degree in Electronic Technology or similar discipline is required; or suggested minimum ten (10) years equivalent industry experience is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.

Other Qualifications

  • Decision making, Problem Solving Skills.
  • Verbal and Written Communication Skills.
  • Possesses knowledge of PCB assembly, soldering, rework, and debug techniques.
  • Possess working knowledge of technical (test) standards, methods, and equipment (EMC, Environmental, etc.).
  • Possess system-level wiring and assembly knowledge.
  • Possess knowledge of machine shop equipment and processes.
  • Experience working in a regulated industry, with ISO 9001 or ISO 13485 experience preferable.

Physical Requirements

  • Professional office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and low noise level. May require prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, using a computer, and other office equipment. Minimal physical activity is generally involved, emphasizing the importance of good posture and ergonomic workplace arrangements.
