Responsibilities:
GTP Finland employs 50 colleagues and is the global leader for recycling of tungsten with the zinc process. As the Managing Director - Operations of this site, you are responsible for the local production as well as for upholding the commitment of the Group to produce sustainable products made from recycled materials.
Leading and managing the production plant in a Matrix-Structure, ensuring efficient and high-quality production and reporting to operational heads/MDs of GTP in Luxembourg and US
Profit & Loss (P&L) responsibility for the plant in Jyväskylä Finland through close alignment and collaboration with other GTP sides, as well partnering with the (local) sales organization and service functions within our matrix-organization.
Maximizing production capacity utilization to ensure continuous profitability improvement.
Coordinating and collaborating with operational units such as HR, Finance, Controlling, and Procurement.
Supporting and implementing strategic initiatives in alignment with CERATIZIT Group to promote growth and competitiveness.
Qualifications:
An MSc or equivalent advanced degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred, MBA is a plus
Several years of experience in managing production plants with a proven track record incl. P&L
Experience in supporting and implementing strategic initiatives aligned with corporate goals
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams in all relevant fields
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with global and regional stakeholders and strong intercultural experience, fluency in Finnish and English
