The Rig Machine Support Crew provides essential assistance to rig operators and technicians during drilling, installation, and maintenance of shallow wells and boreholes. The role ensures smooth rig operation, safe handling of tools and equipment, and timely completion of drilling activities in challenging field conditions.

The Individual

• Certificate or vocational/TVET training in mechanics, electrical, or related field desirable.
• Basic knowledge of drilling operations and tool handling preferred.
• Physically fit and able to perform heavy lifting.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in drilling rig support, construction, or related heavy equipment operations.
• Experience in NGO/infrastructure projects and remote fieldwork preferred.

Location: Gambella Program Area

Type of Role: Project based until December 31, 2025 with possibility of extension

This position is only open to Ethiopian Nationals, who must be eligible to live and work in Ethiopia.
