Job Duties: Build cutting edge technology using the latest advances in deep learning and machine learning to personalize Pinterest Partner while interfacing with various teams across Pinterest, Inc. Experiment with and improve machine learning models for various product surfaces (Homefeed, Ads, Growth, Shopping, and Search). Apply machine learning methods (e.g., user modeling, personalization, recommender systems, search, ranking, natural language processing, reinforcement learning, and graph representation learning). Build data processing pipelines, and work with large scale machine learning systems, and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop/Spark). Research machine learning applications across different areas. Use data driven methods and leverage the unique properties of Pinterest, Inc. data to improve candidates' retrieval. Work in a high-impact environment with quick experimentation and product launches. Stay conversant with industry trends in recommendation systems. Telecommuting is permitted.

Minimum Requirements: Master's degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or closely related quantitative discipline and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field.

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Data Structures; (2) Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS); (3) Spark; (4) Machine Learning; (5) User Modeling; (6) Recommender Systems; (7) Search and Ranking; (8) Natural Language Processing; (9) Scalable Deep Learning; and (10) Data Mining. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is permitted.

Salary: $168,237.50 - $222,695.00 per annum
