The SMERF Sales Manager is responsible for driving group room revenue from the Social, Military, Educational, Religious, Fraternal (SMERF) segments, as well as Wedding Room Blocks, Associations, Tour & Travel, Entertainment, Wholesale/FIT, Government, and other complementary markets. This role is ideal for a proactive, experienced sales professional with strong San Francisco market knowledge who thrives on uncovering new business, building lasting relationships, and representing the hotel throughout the community.

Minimum 2–3 years of hotel sales experience required; SMERF, wedding block, or group sales experience strongly preferred.
Strong knowledge of the San Francisco market, including demand patterns, competitive sets, and local accounts.
Proven track record in outside sales, prospecting, and closing new business.
Comfortable attending events, conducting sales calls, and sourcing new clients in person.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work independently and juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with CRM systems, Delphi, or similar tools is a plus.
Should be excited to work in the office five days a week; this is not a remote position.
