- Contribute to the design, development, and optimization of processes for extracting metals from mine tailings and other under-utilized material streams
- Assist senior engineers in researching, modeling, and developing innovative processes for metal extraction
- Analyze data to understand process performance, identify areas for improvement, and optimize metal recovery rates
- Support the development and implementation of environmentally friendly extraction methods
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures in laboratory and pilot plant settings

- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
- Strong understanding of fundamental chemical and physical principles related to mineral processing and metal extraction
- Experience working in a laboratory environment is preferred
- Proficient in scientific software for data analysis and visualization
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a strong focus on innovation
