Workday Benefit Systems Analyst
Maricopa County is currently seeking a Workday Benefit Systems Analyst. This position will primarily focus on supporting Workday Benefit configuration, reporting, and/or integrations. The System Analyst will work closely with the Workday Benefit Administrator and other Benefits professionals to ensure that benefit data is accurate and that our employees have the best possible benefits experience!

Job Contributions:
- Responsible for the identification, development, and recommendation of business processes and system changes and improvements as they relate to Benefits
- Work closely with Benefit Partners to understand and evaluate business needs and processes, and analyze the impact of system changes
- In partnership with the Benefit Administrator, conduct needs assessments, evaluate standard operating procedures, model process improvements, develop functional and process requirements, create process flow documentation, participate in implementation testing, and provide training to functional areas and other IT staff.
- Responsible for production system support, including escalated research assistance
- Assist with integrations, which includes gathering requirements, development, testing, and creating and/or updating technical/functional documentation.
- Assist with reporting, which includes gathering requirements, development, testing, migration, and creating and/or updating documentation.
- Assist with projects such as Open Enrollment and Workday Release.
- Works with vendor and consultants as needed to problem-solve and transfer knowledge.
- Creates user documentation to explain how to use Workday.
Working Conditions:
Work is generally performed in an office environment. Hybrid telework and alternate work schedules may be available after an initial training period. Tasks require manual dexterity of hands and body to operate office equipment and manage frequent interruptions, time pressures, varying work volumes, and multiple, complicated, and unscheduled tasks.
