Job purpose: We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate to join our growing PHINIA engineering team as a ME! This position will support us in ME daily work in Pump & ECU APU and reports to ME Supervisor of this APU.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manufacturing documents PFD, PFMEA, PCP, IPD, STC, PMF, etc. updating. Train job setters or shift leaders to implement work instructions.
  • Equipment selection and acquisition in regards to facility and New Product needs, planning and coordinating an array of activities pertaining to installation of site and process equipment, machine & tooling fixture qualification.
  • Provide timely solution/root cause analysis of manufacturing process, machine problems, quality issues to maintain smooth flow of production. Analysis of existing production problems and take immediate corrective action/solution.
  • Design and implementing upgrades to equipment/mechanisms or parameters depending on the change to increase efficiency, cost down, quality and machine health.
  • Implement corrective and preventive maintenance actions against assembly & test process.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams utilizing discipline problem solving approaches. Lead the responsibility area issue tracking and summarized.
  • Continuous improvement to exceed customer requirement.
  • Develop new process to meet new product and building sample.
  • OEE / FTQ / APU operation cost improvement.
  • Accomplish tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.
  • Make safety and environment the most important criteria in the working area and for the individual.

What we're looking for:

  • College degree of Automatic or mechanic or engineering major or equivalent experience or above.
  • 3 years work experience on process engineering. Automotive component manufacturing experience is preferred. Experience on PFMEA, PFD, process and equipment.
  • Knowledge of Mechanical, assembly, laser welding process and ultrasonic washing and functional testing. Good problem solving techniques.
  • Auto CAD&3D drawing/solid works or others 3D mechanical design software required, excel data summary& PPT report, industry camera such as Cognex & Keyence is a plus.
  • Familiar with A3/8D tool, SHAININ concept.
  • Good command of MS. Office.
  • Good command of written English. Good oral English is a plus.
  • Enthusiastic & eager to learn; A team player, high degree of personal integrity and honesty. Good communication skill.
