Customer Service Intern

PHINIA Aftermarket is currently seeking a dynamic, solution-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Service Intern at our World Headquarters building in Auburn Hills, MI. As a Customer Service Intern, you'll play a key role in supporting our customers by:

  • Assisting with claim processing and order placement
  • Collaborating with our Sales, Customer Service and Warehouse teams to deliver exceptional service
  • Contributing to special projects that promote your professional growth and development

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately enter and process customer orders and claims using the SAP system
  • Ensure timely and precise order entry to meet customer requirements and expectations
  • Proactively manage customer expectations through clear and timely communication
  • Share critical information with both internal teams and external customers to ensure alignment
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently and effectively
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone with professionalism and courtesy
  • Maintain and update work instructions and process documentation
  • Support operational efficiency initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement projects

  • Must be actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in business or a related field

  • Solid typing and word processing skills, with clear and effective communication abilities
