Account Executive

We're hiring a hungry, experienced Account Executive who can hit the ground running, selling to event planners. This is a quota-carrying, full-cycle role: You will own your leads, run demos, negotiate, and close deals. You'll focus exclusively on Meeting Planners / Business Event Planners customers and will be responsible for building a predictable planner-focused sales pipeline and closing new logos. We want someone who can produce high outbound and demo call activity.

This role is perfect if you're a high-activity closer who already runs a quota, knows how to use modern outbound stack, and wants straightforward earning upside with uncapped commission.

Responsibilities:

  • Run full sales cycles from outbound prospecting → discovery → demo → close.
  • Deliver high-volume outbound outreach (email / phone / LinkedIn) each day to build and maintain your pipeline.
  • Conduct consultative demos tailored to planner workflows and pain points.
  • Negotiate and close deals; own your pipeline and forecast.
  • Use HubSpot + LinkedIn Sales Navigator + Apollo/Clay to track and manage every stage of the funnel.
  • Partner with Marketing to refine messaging and run targeted campaigns; coordinate with CS for smooth handoffs.
  • Meet or beat monthly quota targets and report activity/pipeline bi-/weekly.

Qualifications:

  • Experienced AE only — no BDRs: 2–4+ years closing quota-carrying experience in B2B SaaS selling into event planners / hospitality / SMB.
  • Exp running your own demos and closed $2-5K ACV deals. (Avg deal here ~ $1,800).
  • Proven track record meeting daily activity metrics and hitting quota.
  • Expert with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, HubSpot (or equivalent), and outbound tools (Apollo, Clay).
  • Self-starter who needs minimal ramp — we expect you to be productive from week 1.

Compensation:

We keep this simple: You get a stable base ($75K) plus 20% commission on everything you close — uncapped. That means every deal you win directly grows your paycheck. Here's the math and clear milestone targets so you can see how the OTE is achievable.

  • Average deal = $1,800
  • Commission per deal = 20% × $1,800 = $360

To reach $160K+ OTE (more than double the $75K base):

  • 20 deals/month × 12 = 240 deals/year → commission = 240 × $360 = $86,400 → OTE = $161,400

What smaller stepping stones look like:

  • 15 deals / month → 180 deals/year → commission = 180 × $360 = $64,800 → OTE = $139,800 (solidly within advertised OTE)
  • 25 deals / month → 300 deals/year → commission = 300 × $360 = $108,000 → OTE = $183,000 (clearly shows upside beyond doubling)

To hit $100K OTE you need roughly 6 deals/month (~70 deals/year). To hit $160K+ OTE, you need ~20 deals/month. Everything you close increases your earnings — commission is uncapped.

Why this matters: At this company no one limits your upside. You get your reliable base, then you make the rest yourself. Hit the activity, run the demos, close the deals — your pay reflects your results. If you crush it, the sky's the limit.
