Supplier Account Management Specialist

As Supplier Account Management Specialist, you will have the opportunity to manage a supplier portfolio and procurement projects to deliver an impact through the deployment of commodity strategy programs and related negotiation tactics. The aim of this role is to ensure performance, growth, and innovation while effectively managing risk and spend.

Your role:

• Creating supplier strategy, managing procurement projects, implementing defined negotiation
• Conducting assessments to identify and manage critical supplier parameters on a continuous basis covering risk, regulatory compliance, financial exposure and related liabilities and creating corresponding mitigation and contingency plans with business continuity in mind;
• Ensuring full compliance regarding sustainability and regulatory requirements;
• Identifying future business opportunities and NPI projects together with Procurement Engineering and based on provided Supplier innovation/ideas;
• Securing close alignment between supplier, Procurement Engineering and business;

You're the right fit if:

• You have at least 2 years of experience in procurement, i.e. sourcing, contracting, purchasing etc.;
• Your English is fluent,
• You have strong analytical (Excel on advanced level) and negotiation skills; Project Management skills are also desirable
• You are experienced in Lean methodology;
• You have a University degree, preferably in engineering/procurement/ logistics/business administration field;
• Experience with automation (e.g. scripting, Excel macros) is a plus.
