Rewards Services Partner - APAC, ISC, Japan

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develops and examines budgets for merit increases, retention strategies, and various incentive programs, conducting in-depth analyses of external market data, forecasting trends, and ensuring that all compensation strategies are aligned with Philips' overall strategic goals and financial objectives.
  • Evaluates annual benefit program budgets by reviewing proposed changes and ensuring they align with the organizational objectives, financial constraints, and employee needs, working closely with benefits leads under limited supervision to make informed decisions that enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
  • Creates, updates, and ensures the implementation of rewards policies to maintain proper governance, compliance, and adherence to local and international regulations, regularly reviewing policy effectiveness and making necessary adjustments to ensure consistency and alignment with global operations.
  • Provides expert advice on complex rewards topics and unique situations, offering innovative solutions to mitigate risks and align with company's long-term strategy, showcasing a deep understanding of industry best practices and the ability to navigate complex legal and regulatory landscapes.
  • Develops and implements comprehensive rewards strategies that focuses on long-term goals and ensures alignment with overall business objectives and market trends, collaborating with senior leadership to integrate rewards initiatives into the broader organizational strategy.
  • Implements and continuously improves rewards tools and processes, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and user-friendliness in rewards management, leveraging technology and best practices to streamline operations.
  • Ensures all rewards programs and policies comply with local and international regulations, maintaining high standards of governance and ethical practice, regularly auditing rewards practices, addressing compliance issues proactively, and staying updated on legal changes and industry standards.
  • Develops employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives, to ensure comprehensive coverage and support for employees' well-being.
  • Answers advanced employee questions, provides detailed explanations, and ensures that all information is easily understood to help employees make informed decisions about their benefits and compensation packages.
  • Reviews job evaluations and classifications to support fair and equitable compensation practices, including salary benchmarking, benefits administration, incentive program development, policy creation, data management, employee communication, People Function metrics analysis, regulatory compliance, and vendor management.
  • Oversees the development and implementation of global mobility programs, ensuring compliance with international regulations, tax laws, and company policies, while facilitating smooth transitions for employees relocating abroad.
  • Provides strategic guidance on complex immigration and relocation issues, collaborating with People, Legal, and Finance teams to manage international assignments, visas, and cross-border employment matters effectively.
  • Leads the evaluation and execution of potential merger and acquisition opportunities, conducting in-depth financial analysis, due diligence, and risk assessments to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop integration plans, ensuring seamless transitions and alignment with organizational objectives, while managing stakeholder communication and regulatory compliance throughout the M&A process.

Minimum required Education: Bachelor's/ Master's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent.

Preferred Experience: 15 years of experience in areas such as Rewards Management, Human Resources or equivalent.

For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities.Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers' or suppliers' locations.
