Key Account Manager - Rossmann (M/W/D)

As Key Account Manager Rossmann, you will take full responsibility for the commercial relationship with one of our most important customers in the German drugstore market. This role goes beyond classic account management – it is about building business together, shaping categories, and enabling joint growth through close cross-functional collaboration. You will work closely with Marketing, Shopper Activation & Excellence, Category Management, Finance, Supply Chain, and our global business units to bring end-to-end plans to life.

As part of the Food & Drug Team for DACH, you will actively drive and shape the success of these channels together with the team members.

Your Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for the complete P&L for Rossmann: revenue, investments, and profitability
  • You will develop and implement fact-based customer plans based on shopper, consumer, and category insights
  • You will use data such as Nielsen, GfK, sell-out, and shopper data to argue for distribution, pricing, and activations
  • You will work closely with Shopper Activation & Excellence and Category Management to identify growth opportunities for the entire category
  • You will integrate price elasticity studies and ROI analyses into your promotion and pricing strategy
  • You will conduct annual negotiations, present innovations, plan promotions, and manage joint business planning
  • You will work closely with Marketing and Shopper teams to ensure strong visibility and activation in the market
  • You will coordinate with Finance for the investment strategy and forecasts
  • You will work closely with Supply Chain and Customer Service to ensure availability and excellence in implementation
  • You will coordinate with global BUs/BGs for the innovation roadmap and go-to-market strategy
  • You will actively participate in internal initiatives and help build new commercial skills in the team

The Job Fits You If:

You have a completed degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field

  • 3–5+ years of experience in Key Account or Category Management, ideally in FMCG
  • Strong FMCG competencies: fact-based sales, category thinking, shopper marketing, ROI models, pricing, forecasting
  • Analytically strong, experienced in using Nielsen, GfK, IRI, or similar data
  • You have a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset and want to shape new ways of working
  • You communicate clearly, convince others, and build strong relationships – both internally and externally
  • You speak fluent German and English
