Junior Trade Shopper Marketing Specialist

In this role, you have the opportunity to take full responsibility for the Philips Avent brand within the drugstore channel, focusing on analyzing market trends, shopper behavior and channel performance. You will actively contribute to category management projects, turning data-based insights into actions that grow both the brand and our retail partnerships. This role gives you exposure to activating a global brand in both online and offline (omnichannel) environments, while building strong expertise in drugstore channel marketing.

You are responsible for:

  • Full ownership of the Philips Avent brand in the drugstore channel, ensuring impactful trade and shopper marketing execution.
  • Preparing, developing and implementing an ambitious Trade & Shopper Marketing strategy to achieve business objectives.
  • Conducting analyses of shopper insights, sales performance, promotions and market dynamics in the drugstore channel.
  • Translating findings into tailored activation plans, in collaboration with Sales, Marketing and Digital teams.
  • Active participation in Category Management projects (e.g. assortment optimization, planogram improvements, shelf visibility initiatives).
  • Providing innovative in-store and online solutions (POS materials, e-content, promotional campaigns), developed with external partners.
  • Tracking and evaluating the trade marketing budget in the drugstore channel to ensure ROI.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in trade marketing, brand activation or category management.
  • Experience in the drugstore channel is a strong advantage.
  • Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to transform data into actionable strategies.
  • Knowledge of category management practices (assortment analysis, planogram development, space/shelf visibility).
  • Familiarity with omnichannel activation tools (POSM, e-content, trade promotions).
  • Digital and e-commerce knowledge is a plus.
  • Proactive, "can do" approach, curiosity and willingness to test & learn.
  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics or other relevant field is preferred.
  • Very good command of English.
