Business Support Officer

As a Business Support Officer you will be the key person for project support and administration, analysis, reporting and continuous improvement. You will drive and maintain high level quality for the operational performance of Philips Micro Devices (MD).

Your role will include:

  • End-2-End administrative support around commercial processes and projects: Quote preparation and (administrative) processing and business reporting supported by analysis
  • During and in various phases of Market-2-Order (M2O) and Order-2-Cash (O2C) processes
  • Opportunity, Quotation, Sales Order handling, Project execution, Shipping and Invoicing
  • Working with(IT) applications like Salesforce, Sofon, SAP (TEP), Planisware and Qlikview
  • Ensuring that administrative processes are executed in a standardized and harmonized way in line with the QMS and by using standard approaches, ways of working, calculations, tools & templates. Pro-active signaling of deviations a/o areas requiring improvement.
  • Pro-active Process Improvement, supported by investigation and proper (root cause) analysis.
  • Coordinate Shipping as well as Export Control activities, supported and executed by others.
  • Business reporting in close cooperation with (sales) management and F&A, being the supporting backbone in the areas of reporting and analysis.

You're the right fit if:

  • You have a Bachelor's Degree preferably in business administration or business economics
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in administrative support around commercial processes and projects preferably as a business support officer.
  • Ability to manipulate large volume of data and translate into meaningful decision-making information and documents,
  • Experience working directly with external customers in the field of shipment
  • Strong Excel skills are a must, and Knowledge of other software like SAP-TEP kernel
  • Strong affinity with processes, tools & systems
  • Fluent in Dutch and English both written and spoken
  • A "Continuous Improvement" mindset with a pro-active and supporting attitude
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills, including pro active behavior
  • The ability to not only signal issues but also anticipate and generate alternative solutions
