This is a temporary position for 32 hours per week, and is a 9 month position. SAS Computing is the department of the School of Arts & Sciences that is responsible for supporting faculty, staff and students use of information technology. SAS Computing staff members work year-round to make sure our students, faculty, and staff have the technological tools they need for outstanding educational achievements in the Information Age.
Required: Excellent customer service skills, Ability to communicate clearly and effectively while managing multiple issues over phone, email, and in person, Use good judgment, tact, discretion, and be organized, flexible, and patient. Interact with users of varying levels of computer expertise
Preferred: Knowledge of and significant experience with Windows and MacOS and Android and iOS devices, Ability to perform operating system installs and backups, Experience with email applications like Apple Mail and Outlook, spreadsheet and word processing software like Excel and Word
