The Marketing Communications Intern will work closely with members of the Communications Team of the Firm's Business Development & Marketing Department in support of various firm and department initiatives. Essential functions include drafting and distributing press releases and media pitches, updating attorney biographies and liaising with attorneys on edits, assisting with media list research, posting alerts, events, and newsletters to the website and/or firm intranet, assisting with social media post creation and research, and assisting with other writing tasks, including event invitations and other materials, as necessary. Special projects, as assigned, for the Business Development & Marketing Department and Firm, including but not limited to survey responses, production of PowerPoints for attorneys, etc.
Qualifications (experience, knowledge, skills and abilities) include some related marketing/communications experience/second or final Co-op preferred and candidates must have strong writing capabilities. This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
