Technical Leadership For Civil Engineering Projects

AECOM Technical Services, Inc. is seeking a civil engineer to provide technical leadership for teams working on medium to large scale transportation projects in Philadelphia, PA. The role involves developing design criteria, horizontal and vertical alignments, superelevation, and barrier/guiderail designs. It will also require creating rigid and flexible pavement designs, preparing signing and pavement marking plans, and developing construction phasing plans. The candidate will identify utility conflicts and coordinate resolutions, develop construction specifications, quantities, and cost estimates, and implement 3D CADD modeling techniques. The engineer will prepare technical reports, tables, and graphics, adhere to AECOM quality procedures, and contribute to interdisciplinary technical reviews. They will also work collaboratively as part of a larger design team to meet client scope, budget, and schedule through ethical and responsible decision making. Support to AECOM project managers and department managers is required. Telecommuting is permitted up to three days per week. The salary range is $119,413 to $153,881.32 per year.
