Job Summary:

  • Ability to compose professional letters and other correspondence to internal/external customers.
  • Audit billing and collection activity for compliance and accuracy.
  • Communicate to team daily, weekly and monthly results to include reasons for process bottlenecks, collection shortfalls and operational successes.
  • Conducts recruitment efforts for all exempt and nonexempt and temporary personnel
  • Demonstrates detailed knowledge of all regional insurance requirements in order to act as a resource for billing representatives.
  • Develops work flow processes to support and improve production.
  • Implement new business initiatives, software or programs to include staffing required, training and process design.
  • In partnership with management, reviews employee's workflow, productivity and attendance with employees.
  • Maintain software expertise in order perform tasks as required utilizing all systems tools available.
  • Participate in developing staff training modules and delivery mechanisms.
  • Prepare system reports and excel spreadsheets
  • Provide oversight for staff motivation and development.
  • Provides support to department management to motivate, mentor and manage employee relations. Works with management to mitigate risk.
  • Provides support to department management to motivate, mentor and manage employee relations to include employee recognition program such as department celebrations and team activities.
  • Provides oversight for all processes to ensure operational goals and production standards are met.
  • Resolves executive management operational requests and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Review and works with department supervisors to monitor employee productivity, month end requirements and A/R trends.
  • Support, assist or resolve difficult patient cases referred by staff, client, or manager.
  • Supervisory and budget responsibility.
  • Responsible for supporting company Safety Management System activities.
  • Understand and provide visible support of Destination Zero.
  • Complying with company HS&E policies and procedures.
  • Other projects and assignments as assigned.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree required in Business Administration, Management or related field.
  • Ten (10) plus years of work experience in managing employees with high volume of billing experience
  • Advanced excel skills and database management understanding required
  • Previous auditing, quality assurance and analytical experience required
  • Healthcare administration background preferred
  • Professional oral and written presentation skills required
  • Preferential consideration will be provided to current employees who have demonstrated the abilities and education to perform the job requirements as documented in the description above.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-placement drug test and background screen
  • This position is designated Safety Sensitive for purposes of the Arizona Medical Marijuana Act.
