About the Role Phaxis Education is seeking a

Paraprofessional

with Special Education classroom/teaching experience

to provide 1: 1 support for an elementary student at King Murphy Elementary (Evergreen area).

The student has a homeschooled background and is working below grade level; you’ll help implement teacher- and IEP-aligned supports to build academic and functional skills in a calm, student-centered setting. Position Details

• Location: Bailey, CO (King Murphy Elementary – Evergreen area)
• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: May 28, 2026 (possible continuation through 2026–27)
• Schedule: Mon–Thu (4-day school week)
• Hours: 32 hours/week
• Caseload: 1 student, individualized support

What You’ll Do

• Provide 1: 1 in-class and pull-out support aligned to the teacher’s plan
• Assist with behavior plans, data collection, and progress monitoring
• Support literacy/math scaffolded instruction and social-emotional goals
• Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and administrators

What We’re Looking For

• Paraprofessional experience in Special Education (elementary)
• Background working alongside SPED teachers (teaching experience a plus)
• Comfort with behavior supports/ABA strategies and de-escalation basics
• Strong communication, organization, and team mindset
