Overnight Trade Support Consultant

Pay Rate up to $71.00

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all futures and options trades are cleared, allocated, and booked accurately in client accounts on trade date.
• Liaise with exchanges, carrying brokers, and clients to resolve trade breaks, allocation issues, and exceptions in a timely manner.
• Process expiring options and maintain accurate static data setups in GMI and middle office systems.
• Oversee the complete post trade delivery process, handling everything from contract expiration to delivery notices and physical settlements at global exchanges such as ICE GASOIL, IFAD Murban Crude, and LME.
• Track clients' intentions regarding deliveries and promptly report any associated risks in accordance with exchange regulations and internal policies.
• Process customer instructions for approved products being delivered, including preparing stop orders and issuing invoices.
• Respond promptly to exchange and regulatory inquiries, maintaining strong knowledge of exchange rules, clearing and delivery timelines, and cut offs.
• Maintain up to date procedures, checklists, and contact lists.
• Partner closely with internal teams (Front Office, Credit Risk, Treasury, Compliance) and external stakeholders to ensure smooth daily operations.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• 5+ years of Futures & Options Operations experience, covering Clearing and Deliveries, with strong hands on GMI knowledge and strong reconciling skills.
• Working knowledge of multiple exchange clearing and delivery platforms, including LME, ICE (FEC / FEC+), ECS, EUREX, EEX, or similar.
• Prior experience supporting a 24x6 global futures operations environment.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Excellent attention to detail with proven follow through on time critical deliverables.
• Strong understanding of exchange deadlines, contract expiry processes, delivery mechanism.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate issues and drive resolution.
• Demonstrated ability to escalate issues appropriately and manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.
