Position Summary

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Sales, Forecasting, and Analytics, the Sales Analytics Manager, Forecasting and Operations, will support the commercial teams by designing, implementing, and managing data tools that support forecasting and operational activities. This role will work in partnership with Data Scientists/ Engineers and Business Analysts in the Commercial and IT teams to build and deploy business solutions that leverage Pharmavite ERP data and Retailer Point of Sale data. This role will also manage Commercial Forecasting activities that support the monthly S&OP process. The goal of this work is to maximize sales, profit, and market share by improving forecast accuracy and analytics to support key business decisions. This position requires a balance of technical skills, teamwork, strong communication, and critical thinking.

Key Responsibilities

50% of this role is responsible for building new sales tools including:

  • Building innovative reporting capabilities, cross-functional metrics, and analytical tools that will drive data-driven decisions.
  • Supports the Director of Sales Operations in the management of internal stakeholder requirements with a structured process spanning development, implementation, and automation.
  • Developing and executing key activities in advancing data capabilities (ie predictive analysis, data structure, report building) to support Sale Analytics processes and projects.
  • Management of an ecosystem of platforms and data sources which can be aggregated and tied into consolidated outputs. Ability to advise on proper hierarchy and connection methods of these sources.
  • Proactively identifying and implementing solutions and process improvements through knowledge and continuous learning of the latest data management principles, data management tools, and data sources.
  • Creating data solutions that enable accessibility of data at the user level of proficiency. Upholding the gold standards of data quality, security, and governance, ensuring compliance with pertinent regulations and maintaining data privacy.

50% of this role is responsible for Commercial Forecasting activities supporting Key Retail account planning (Walmart, Kroger, Target, etc.) including:

  • Partnering with Pharmavite Field Sales leaders to gather insights about upcoming consumption driving initiatives (promotions, displays, etc) and their impact.
  • Loading new intelligence into the POS Forecasting tool with appropriate timing, product mix, and lift for ongoing accuracy.
  • Partner with Demand Planners by providing consumption forecasts monthly as an input to shipment and supply planning activities.
  • Deliver monthly Power Point slides visualizing key changes and business drivers of change with the goal of achieving alignment with sales leaders and as input to S&OP meetings.

Minimum Requirements

Education: Requires a four-year university degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or equivalent professional experience. Master's in Business Administration or Masters in Predictive Analytics or Information Sciences preferred.

Certification: Microsoft Fabric or Power BI preferred but not required.

Experience: 4-5 years working in data analytics with experience implementing business solutions for CPG companies or experience Forecasting/ Demand Planning at a CPG company or a large CPG retailer. Experience with MySQL (Structured Query Language), Python, Power BI, Tableau, and Excel. Experience with Pharmaceutical or Supplement sales is a plus. Experience with JD Edwards, Microsoft Power Automate, or Microsoft Fabric is a plus.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Requires:

  • Advanced Excel Skills
  • Experience in automation and integration of multiple platforms.
  • Advanced skills in data visualization tools: Power BI, Tableau
  • Experience with SQL
  • Experience leading cross-functional meetings.
  • Experience with complex, matrixed project management.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to approach problems in a scientific manner but can also execute pragmatically.
  • Experience or knowledge of demand planning or forecasting principles including S&OP or IBP processes.
  • Experience working within sales, analytics, or planning at a CPG company or for a key CPG retailer.

Physical Requirements: General office environment, ability to sit for long periods of time. Ability to move about an office. Environment: Exposure to disagreeable elements is limited. Salary Range

National Target Base Pay Range: $100,000 - $166,000. The salary range for this position is based on national standards. For candidates in California and New York metro the Target Base Pay Range is $110,000 - $184,000, to reflect the cost of living and market conditions in those areas. Actual compensation will take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location, education, experience, qualifications and job-related skills. It is not typical for an individual to be hired above the midpoint of the range for their role and compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. This information is provided to applicants in accordance with state and local laws. Base pay is only one component of our total rewards offerings, and we will take the full offering into consideration when presenting an offer of employment. Our total rewards package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, Medical, dental and vision benefits, 401K match, and other wellness benefits.
