Job Title: Senior Engineer - Control Systems

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the team of engineers and technicians in carrying out detailed assessments of the condition and performance of maintenance strategies for all Control Systems relating to oil and gas processing plants.
• Responsible for the execution of the project, comprising detailed condition assessments, and troubleshooting work, and support during technical audits, in addition to procurement and maintenance phases as per contract requirements.
• Interface and regularly meet with the client, participate in internal staff meetings, ensure the progress of the project in accordance with the schedule.
• Responsible for minimizing the production impact of maintenance activity without compromising quality.
• Assure various inspections and integrity assessments and provide recommendations and troubleshooting.
• Verify and conceptualize the most optimum work route. Identify a clear scope of work/supply and accordingly plan/schedule the engineering activities and manpower resource.
• Supervise coordination with operations, maintenance, and planning teams to identify project time schedules and establish target completion dates.
• Support in identifying irregularities and shortfalls in spares, inventory, and tools necessary to ensure continuous and safe operations, and take corrective action as required.
• Review MOCs for technical accuracy and delivery and execute as directed. Provide direction on priority of work and provide clarity on issues for root cause analysis studies.
• Manage and perform troubleshooting and condition assessments.
• Identify and report any scope of breakdown maintenance work identified during assessment and perform defect analysis to determine scope of repair or corrective actions.
• Ability to work on Control Systems such as Advanced Process Control (APC), Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Emergency Shutdown Systems (ESD), and Fire and Gas Systems.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Instrument or Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 14 years of related Oil & Gas experience.
• Certified and experienced to operate in high Hydrogen Sulphide (H2S) environments.
• Working knowledge of discipline engineering codes and standards to operate and maintain assets in a gas processing field.
• Working knowledge of commissioning, operations, and maintenance activities for Control System equipment.
• Experienced in Control System upgrades and troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated local and international experience.
