 
                                                
                                            Scope of Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the safe and efficient operations of all oil and gas facilities within the Ravva oil field concession.
• Ensure oil and gas production targets are achieved or improved.
• Ensure all maintenance is completed to plans and schedules.
• Set work priorities.
• Responsible for long term planning, related to shutdowns.
• Responsible for the creation of weekly and monthly reports.
• Maintain the Asset Risk Register.
• Provide technical and commercial support to team leaders.
• Recommend performance improvements and review all MOC's.
Objectives / Responsibilities:
• Implement a programme that drives and monitors continuous improvement in safety and operations.
• Full awareness of all OEM's, vendors and Sub-contractors' contractual obligations.
• Lead the weekly and monthly planning meetings.
• Liaise regularly with Vedanta team on operations issues.
• Lead in Emergency response as directed.
• Ensure a call-out system to support out of hours major process incident is in place and efficient.
• Author the maintenance section in the weekly and monthly project reports.
• Work with the CMMS Engineer to ensure that maintenance routines are accurate and justified.
• Ensure CMMS and all other data systems that are in force with the production and maintenance teams are kept to a high standard.
• Lead on incident investigation and make recommendations to prevent re-occurrence.
• Excellent knowledge of all risks and hazards associated with oil and gas operations.
• Full awareness of all risks and hazards that are prevalent in Ravva Oil Field.
• Oversee all competency training as provided by local training team.
• Oversee audit planning and contents of audits. Lead audit review meeting.
• Be fully conversant with the technical documentation available from E & C contractor and OEM's.
• Layout reporting systems for Production and Maintenance Teams.
• Ensure all technical documentation is review and updated/amended as necessary.
• Review competency of senior team managers, carry out annual assessments and reviews.
• Be conversant with project KPI's and support their delivery and attainment at all times.
• Have in-depth knowledge of the project contract.
• Lead or cooperate with; internal or external audits as directed.
• Chair a weekly operations team meeting and maintain an action and minute log for discussion.
• Compile or receive detailed written Handover prior to; and completion of leave and/or field breaks.
• Have a full awareness of the Company Code of Conduct and Business Ethics.
• Strong HSE awareness and fully conversant with HSE reporting system and Golden Rules.

• High impact decisions approved by Supervisor.

• All Specific domain Staff

Physical Effort and Work Environment:
• Duties performed in main office mostly in air-conditioned surroundings. Travel is required.
Minimum Job Requirement:
• Degree or equivalent in a compatible discipline to the role.
• Minimum of 15 years' experience in Oil and Gas refinery or offshore/onshore oil field in a similar role.
• Proven leadership ability.
• Can create systems that will ensure continuous improvement of operations.
• Good knowledge of CMMS applications.
• Excellent HSE appreciation and awareness.
• Excellent negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent written and oral English is essential, supported by good report writing.
