To strengthen our team in Vienna, we are currently looking for a talented Senior Key Account Manager (m/w/d).
Your Tasks
- You are responsible for the strategic and operational management of all retail/off-trade customers in Austria with a clear focus on sustainable revenue and profitability growth.
- You independently lead, manage, and develop the national key account portfolio including forecasting and consistent performance tracking.
- You take on the professional and disciplinary leadership of an employee – including clear goal setting, regular coaching, and targeted further development.
- You lead the annual contract and terms negotiations and ensure the successful implementation of the agreed business and joint business plans.
- You are responsible for listing management, new listings, assortment optimization, and national distribution expansion.
- You develop channel- and customer-specific strategies further and implement them in close cooperation with Brand Management, Trade Marketing, Revenue Growth Management, and Finance.
- You are responsible for the P&L and budget responsibility for the entire retail customer portfolio in Austria.
- You develop and manage innovative promotional mechanics, action concepts, and category management initiatives to sustainably increase category performance.
- You plan, negotiate, and implement national promotions, insertions, and activation measures together with our trade partners.
- You are responsible for sales, revenue, and promotion reporting, budget planning, and the derivation of sound action recommendations for management.
- You work closely with internal stakeholders and act as a strategic sparring partner for customers and internal teams.
Your Skills
- You have a completed economic study or a comparable commercial qualification.
- You have several years of experience in key account management in retail/off-trade, ideally in the FMCG environment.
- You have experience in the care of national trade customers as well as in contract and annual talks.
- You have initial management experience and enjoy developing an employee professionally and personally.
- You have a very good understanding of trade structures, promotional mechanics, and category management.
- You can demonstrate experience in budget, P&L, and forecast responsibility.
- You convince with strong negotiation and communication skills at the decision-making level.
- You work analytically, structured, and clearly result-oriented.
- You have very good German and good English skills.
- You are willing to travel within Austria.
