Manufacturing Engineer
The Sr. Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for the defined work or project with moderate complexity. In this role, he/she will follow an individual work plan, meet day-to-day short term objectives and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning:
Work with multi-function team to manage products manufacturing process. Develop investment and expense needs, driving from preparing for approval to completion. Develop manufacturing process for NPI, document process change, driving process/tooling improvements, driving lead time improvement, cost of quality (COQ), and EHS actions. Provide technical support and guidance to production for engineering issues. Manage all technical aspects of the ECO process into production organization. Ensure new process have adequately demonstrated specified process and test control capabilities, through being the champion for the PFMEA, DFM.PFMEA, DFM. Participate in LEAN activities, engage 6 Sigma tools for process improvements to reduce costs and manufacturing lead time. Design necessary fixtures and tooling for NPI and for process improvements. Manage multiple projects by providing scheduling, resource management, budget control and EHS compliance. Training to the production team based on working instructions and previous quality issues. The ability to work independently and be able to communicate with multi-function and management effectively is required.
