The Data Operations Analyst plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient execution and optimization of Vidazoo's ad marketplace operations. This role combines technical execution, analytical problem-solving, and campaign optimization. The Analyst will be responsible for monitoring delivery performance, troubleshooting operational issues, supporting partner integrations, and driving improvements through A/B testing and performance insights.
This is an execution and analysis-focused role — ideal for someone with industry experience who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys working with data, and can collaborate across teams to ensure marketplace stability and growth.
Key Responsibilities
Monitoring & Troubleshooting
- Review dashboards and alerts daily to track campaign delivery, fill rates, latency, and revenue performance.
- Investigate anomalies, troubleshoot technical issues, and escalate systemic problems when needed.
- Ensure smooth operational workflows and minimize campaign disruptions.
System Setup & Configuration
- Configure and maintain tags, scenarios, domains, and demand partner entities in the system.
- Perform QA checks to validate correct rendering, routing, and partner connectivity.
Integration Support & QA
- Support demand partner integrations by creating entities, validating traffic flow, and running discrepancy checks.
- Ensure seamless onboarding of new partners with accurate setup and performance validation.
A/B Testing & Optimization
- Design and execute A/B tests to optimize campaign and marketplace performance.
- Analyze test outcomes, extract insights, and recommend changes to drive efficiency and revenue growth.
- Provide actionable insights to internal stakeholders for ongoing operational improvement.
Cross-Team Collaboration
- Work closely with product, supply, and demand teams to resolve delivery and monetization issues.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align on business goals and objectives.
- Share insights and findings proactively to support strategic decision-making.
Ideal Candidate
- 1-2 years of experience in ad operations, programmatic advertising, or data operations.
- Familiarity with common industry protocols like OpenRTB, PreBid etc.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Hands-on technical skills with ad tech platforms (tag setup, troubleshooting, discrepancy checks) - nice to have
- Experience running and analyzing A/B tests.
- High proficiency in Excel (statistical tests, Pivot, VLOOKUP) and comfort working with large datasets.
- Client-focused mindset with strong communication skills to work across internal and external teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong time management and prioritization skills.
- Tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and proactive in learning and problem-solving.
