Counter-C5ISR Engineer

Peraton Labs is seeking a Counter-C5ISR Engineer to support the U.S. Army at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. This position will be on site five days a week. The chosen candidate will act in a technical engineering role supporting modeling and simulation, lab-based hardware in the loop simulations, and system development. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of RF electronic warfare.

Key responsibilities include:

• Analysis and experimentation
• Signal processing experience, especially when working with radar systems and radar data.
• Synthetic aperture radar (SAR) waveforms and systems
• MATLAB for code development / interfacing with lab hardware / data analysis
• Preparation and presentation of technical data
• Planning and executing Army Science and Technology efforts

The ideal candidate will have these qualifications:

• Five years with BS/BA; three years with MS/MA; zero years with PhD
• Degree in Engineering, Physics, or related field
• TS clearance with ability to obtain SCI
• US Citizenship
• Design knowledge and experience in the areas of RF and electrical engineering
• Knowledge of SAR architectures, capabilities and waveforms, and Counter SAR experience
• ISR operations
• RF closed loop HW evaluations (working with cable connected RF / Effects at raw IQ level)
• AiTR algorithms for wide area images / Wide area surveillance imaging and image processing

Target Salary Range: $112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
