Responsibilities
Develop and grow business in respective territory in assigned categories by achieving revenue and volume targets as per Annual Operating Plan whilst maintaining optimal cost levels (e.g., returns, crates and scheduled call compliance).
- To ensure consistent, professional and efficient service delivery during customer visits, enhancing customer satisfaction and maintaining strong relationships. Sell and distribute all assigned categories
- Execute all promotions, market equipment and new products in trade
- Grow sales in stores by implementation of execution standards by channel and solicit new customers
- Record sales and invoice customers accurately using PepsiCo system
- Collect cash and Proof of Delivery (POD) (in case of credit customers)
- Ensure effective crate management to avoid/reduce crate loss
- Conduct end of day settlement process
- Merchandising
- Manage stock levels and rotate product on shelf as per PepsiCo standards to maximize sales and minimize returns
- Execute point of sales material at store and ensure PepsiCo assets are used for PepsiCo products only
- Ensure safe vehicle operation
- Model PepsiCo Way behaviors
Follow all traffic and safety laws and company policies, including health and safety regulations
- Ensuring the delivery vehicles are clean, well-maintained and safe to operate. Report on any mechanical issues
- Maintain accurate records of stock in the delivery vehicle, including returns or damaged goods
Qualifications
- Matric or NQF3 (shortlisted applicants will be assessed)
- Driver's License (Code 10) and PDP
- Excellent driving skills with training in Defense driving
- Exceptional disciplinary and attendance record throughout employment
