Area Sales

Reporting to the Sales Assoc Country Manager, the Area Sales will be responsible for managing the relationships with retailers within a designated sales area to maintain optimum sales opportunities.

Responsibilities

  1. Visiting all major retailers and independents where SodaStream is ranged
  2. Achieving monthly and quarterly area sales budgets
  3. Managing relationships with retailers within designated sales area
  4. Daily reporting on retail visits through CRM system
  5. Seeking and developing new door opportunities within designated sales area
  6. Providing necessary training and sales support to retail stores
  7. Attending demonstration days and trade shows as required
  8. Managing part-time merchandiser, scheduling rosters and merchandising visits
  9. Maintaining planogram and marketing compliance across relevant retailers
  10. Identifying and implementing sales opportunities through merchandising and in-store marketing
  11. Following agreed sales cycle
  12. Completing store visits within agreed call cycle
  13. Completing regional store visits within agreed call cycle
  14. Ensuring cylinder collection run smooth for all stores
  15. Representing SodaStream in a professional manner
  16. Placing and influencing store orders in direct ordering retailers through CRM
  17. Influencing and maintaining order triggers within replenishment order retailers
  18. Attend quarterly sales meetings
  19. Maintaining In Store Standards to agreed levels

Requirements

  • Daily/Weekly communication with NFSM
  • Daily reporting to acceptable standards and timings
  • Maintaining In Store Standards to agreed levels
  • "On the road" between 8:30am and 5:00pm
  • Quarterly appointments with store managers or franchisee where required
  • Completing store visit checklist for each visit through CRM

Phone contact with regional stores every 4 weeks
