Digital Asset Management Specialist

The purpose of this role is to ensure the digital content is delivered, stored and curated in PepsiCo's Digital Asset Management system (DAM).

The scope of the DAM Specialist includes:

  • sourcing digital content from internal and external partners
  • curating and auditing content metadata
  • providing guidance on asset reusage
  • maintaining and improving asset management processes and systems

The objective of the DAM Specialist is to contribute towards building a single source of truth for digital content that allows users to consult, reuse and get inspired by these assets, and allows PepsiCo to build up a Content Engine that leverages the power of DAM.

Responsibilities include:

  • working closely with internal and external partners to obtain files, maintain organization and keep DAM system up to date
  • ensuring asset deliverables meet required (metadata) specs and timelines
  • working with cross-functional teams consuming and producing digital content to coordinate asset requests and deliveries, as well as other ad-hoc requests
  • supporting and leading change management activities to foster DAM adoption, including trainings, end-user set-up, documentation of processes and manuals
  • supporting operational set-up and implementation of the DAM, including features such as digital templates, brand guidelines and automated workflows
  • continually assessing and optimizing DAM processes and tools for scale and efficiency
  • partnering with PepsiCo marketing teams, agencies and third parties to build a seamless process for acquiring, tagging, cataloging and managing all digital content
  • developing and tracking KPIs to monitor DAM adoption, benefits and system health

Qualifications include:

  • experience with Digital Asset Management systems or similar toolset to propagate and track assets through an operational workflow
  • experience working within a brand environment, collaborating with agencies and marketers
  • proven experience managing and fulfilling digital assets
  • fluency in English
  • capable to build strong customer relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions
  • curious mindset capable to learn new technologies quickly
  • highly collaborative team player with the ability to partner with internal and external partners across geographies
  • organized and responsive, with the ability to deliver tight SLA deadlines
  • attention to detail, process-oriented and meticulous data-driven nature
  • experience with content management technologies (e.g. Drupal, Sprinklr, Adobe CC)

Good to have:

  • experience in analytics and reporting (e.g. SQL, PowerBI)
  • project management (SCRUM, PRINCE, etc.)
