Welder And Fabricator

The welder and fabricator will be responsible for a variety of complex welding and fabrication projects in the industrial shop. They will interpret complex blueprints, layout, fabricate, and weld jobs of a wide variety, including structural steel, stairs, rails, and miscellaneous metals. Most of the welding is MIG and flux core.

Shift and pay: Monday - Friday - 5:00am to 3:30pm $25-$30/hr depending on experience

Responsibilities:

• Interpret and work from complex blueprints for various projects.
• Layout, fabricate, and weld structural steel, stairs, rails, and miscellaneous metals.
• Perform MIG and flux core welding.
• Operate overhead cranes to move materials safely.
• Work independently at an assigned work station.
• Support structural and miscellaneous departments.

Essential skills:

• 3+ years of experience in structural steel or misc. metals layout, fitting, and welding.
• 3+ years of experience in blueprint reading.
• 3+ years of experience in MIG and flux core welding.

Pay and benefits: The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
